# Complete command reference

CLI 1.2 commands, primary options, results and references for each workflow.

Requires WU CLI `1.2.0` and WU Framework `4.0.0` for application APIs. Check `wu --version` and the project dependencies.

Each command interprets its arguments; read its chapter for options and limits. The npm launcher selects the binary and manages `wu update`. Compilation commands and contract tools use project Node dependencies when needed.

`deploy`, `status`, `config`, `remove`, `init` and `preview` are not CLI commands. Publish `dist/` using your hosting provider. Configure the project in `wu.config.json`. Unknown commands fail; test, contract and doctor exit codes are described in their chapters.
